The exhibition took place in the Centre Antoni Tur «Gabrielet», Av. de Portossaler, 13 from Sant Francesc Xavier, Formentera from October 18 to 27, 2023.
For the majority, traveling is getting to know, discovering, living, enjoying… For Josep M. Jubells it is much more. For him, traveling is light, emotions and, even more importantly, evolution and transgression. Each journey, every new destination, represents an opportunity to erase artistic boundaries through anarchy and the deliberate intention to have a unique perspective away from conventionalisms.
The infinite journey is a voyage through some of the physical and emotional landscapes that have influenced Jubells and his work, but it is also a journey towards the search of genius and the sublimation of artistic expression. A journey that, according to the artist himself, “will never end”.
